WELCOME ARTISTS
April 30 & May 1, 2005

Dear Artist and Craftsperson,

Welcome to the fifth annual Daffodil Hill Fine Arts & Crafts Fair, scheduled for Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1, 2005, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Thank you for joining us! We are very enthusiastic about this year’s fair and are keeping our fingers crossed for good weather! Please note, however, that our fair will go forward rain or shine.

Set-up for our fair will be on Saturday morning, April 30th, between 7 a.m. and
9 a.m. Once again we have hired a police officer to work overnight security for us so that you need not breakdown your space on Saturday.

Booth spaces will measure a “generous” 10 x 10 feet. In order to present a uniform and beautiful display of booths, we require that every exhibitor use a canopy unless you are scheduled to be inside one of the dairy barns or unless you get permission from the Daffodil Hill Fine Arts and Crafts Committee to go without a canopy. You must stake and secure your canopy! Be prepared for blustery weather.
Please present an appealing booth space, taking care to store excess stock out of sight.

Enclosed you will find a combination of the following: fliers, postcards, and coupon books. PLEASE DISTRIBUTE THESE! Mail the postcards! Post the fliers! If you are coming from out of state, mail the postcards now, and post the fliers and coupon books when you get to Huntington (Lloyd Harbor). We have made a commitment to extensively advertise this fair, but we can do so much more with your help. Please make an effort to educate the public about this wonderful, art-centered, not for profit event! We will all benefit.

Feel free to call us at (631) 424-6110 with any questions or concerns
you may have.

Again, thank you and see you on Saturday, April 30th.

Sincerely,

Joanne Rossetti Hahn, Cindy Morrongiello and Richard Thatcher
